BETHANN BARANKOVICH

CERTIFIED PILATES TEACHER

Bethann is a Certified Massage Therapist and Stott Certified Pilates Instructor.   She is thrilled to be able to help people improve posture, reduce pain, and increase strength and physical well-being through these two disciplines. Barankovich Massage Therapy is her massage studio in Uptown, Minneapolis.

Bethann became interested in Pilates as an outgrowth of her Anusara Yoga practice, which has an intense focus on alignment. While yoga is still a passion, she finds Pilates to be, for herself and her clients, a more accessible path to foundational strength and optimal body mechanics.
Bethann is certified in Mat and Reformer Pilates, Beginner and Intermediate levels.  She has been active in sports all of her life, the main sports being Ultimate Frisbee and Triathlons as an adult.  She has practiced yoga since 2000. She wants others to be able to live in their best and most functional physical body and enjoy freedom of movement they may have lost or never thought they could have and sees massage and Pilates as a perfect combination to achieve that body.
Bethann loves to work with any and all who are ready to be proactive in their well-being.  Warm and engaging, she brings a lightness and sense of humor to her classes as she pushes her students to work hard and gain knowledge and awareness of their body.
